Here in Hampton Roads, we value our history. From old battlefields to the shipyards that have built the Navy for generations, we understand that real quality lasts.
That’s what the Red Wing Heritage Collection is all about.
Every Heritage boot we sell today is modeled after styles from Red Wing’s early days. This brand wasn’t built on marketing or influencers. It was built on hard work and real effort. These boots were first made for the tough, hands-on jobs of the Industrial Revolution.
Today, the Heritage collection blends that tough history with top-quality materials to make the best lifestyle boots. We get the leather from our own S.B. Foot Tannery in Red Wing, MN. These boots look just as good at a brewery in Phoebus as they do in a workshop.
The Red Wing Heritage Collection
Here’s a look at the classic boots we offer at Red Wing Hampton.
The Chukka

Our Chukka is made for both work and play, making it a great everyday boot. It’s tough enough for hard use but still looks good for a night out.
The toe is made with thick, tough leather from the back of the cow for strength. Softer leather from the belly is used in the tongue and collar to add comfort and flexibility.
The white crepe sole was first made to give a good grip indoors without leaving marks. Now, it keeps the boot light, flexible, and comfortable for all-day wear.
The Oxford

This isn’t your typical dress shoe. The Heritage Oxford uses the same design as our well-known 875 and 877 work boots, but in a lower, sleeker style.
These were first made for factory managers who spent all day on their feet. They needed the strength of a boot but the lighter feel of a shoe for office work.
They’re perfect for moving from the job site to the office, and even to dinner, without missing a step.
The Moc Toe (The Icon)
When you think of a “Red Wing Boot,” you probably picture this one. The 875 and 877 Moc Toes are the boots that made our name.
The Build: Constructed with our stunning Oro Legacy leather, a Goodyear welt, and triple-stitched to our white Traction Tred outsole.
We’ll be honest: these boots can feel stiff at first and need a few long wears to break in. But once the leather shapes to your foot and the cork midsole fits you, they become the most comfortable shoes you’ll ever own.
The Roughneck (The Lug)

These are made for people who need serious grip. The Heritage Lug boots are built to last as long as you do.
These boots have a high-traction, heavy-lug sole. If you walk on uneven or slippery ground, this sole gives you the stability you need.
These usually run a little large, so don’t guess your size online. Visit us near the Coliseum to get the perfect fit.
The Iron Ranger

Named for the iron miners of Minnesota, the Iron Ranger is as tough as raw ore and looks great, too.
These boots look even better as they age. Scuffs, creases, oil, and dirt all add to their character.
They have a cap-toe for extra protection and a corked rubber sole for grip, yet they’re lighter than you’d expect. The sole is easy to replace, so with good care, these boots can last for decades.
The Engineer

These pull-on boots were first made for men shoveling coal on steam trains. They were designed to protect feet from hot embers and slippery floors.
The Engineer boot is tall, sturdy, and fastened with buckles. It makes a statement and offers great protection and secure stability without laces.
The Beckman

Named for our founder, Charles Beckman, this boot was made to handle the muddy streets of Red Wing, MN, while still looking sharp for business meetings.
It uses our exclusive Featherstone leather, which is both strong and lightweight.
This is the “gentleman’s boot.” It’s our dressiest option, perfect for anyone who wants to look professional but won’t settle for flimsy shoes.
